Please read these terms before you book or ride. They help keep you, other people on the island and our vehicles safe.
About these terms
These terms apply when you rent a bicycle or e-scooter from Gilibuddy on Gili Trawangan. By booking or riding with us, you agree to them. Questions? Message us on WhatsApp (+62 853-5381-8599).
Booking and prices
- You can book online through our booking system. Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation.
- Prices are shown in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) per rental period. Prices and availability can change; the price shown when you book is the one that applies.
What you need
- A valid ID or passport, shown at pick-up.
- Riders must be able to ride safely. Our team may refuse a rental if riding would not be safe.
Payment
We accept cash and bank transfer.
Pick-up, delivery and return
- You can pick up your ride at Gilibuddy. Delivery to your accommodation may be possible depending on location and availability.
- Please return the vehicle on time and in the same condition. If you want to extend your rental, message us before it ends; extensions depend on availability.
Cancellations
If your plans change, please let us know on WhatsApp as early as possible so we can offer the ride to someone else.
Riding safely
- Follow the island's rules and our team's instructions.
- Ride at a safe speed and look out for pedestrians, horse carts and other bicycles.
- Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Do not carry more riders than the vehicle allows.
- New to e-scooters? We will show you how the controls work before you go. If you do not feel comfortable, we recommend a bicycle instead.
Damage, loss and theft
- You are responsible for the vehicle from pick-up until it is returned.
- Please lock or keep an eye on it when parked, and tell us straight away about any accident, damage, loss or theft.
- Repair or replacement costs for damage beyond normal wear, or for loss or theft, may be charged.
Breakdowns
Flat tyre or low battery? Message us on WhatsApp with your location and we will help you get going again.
Responsibility
You ride at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Gilibuddy is not responsible for injury, loss or damage caused by unsafe riding or by not following these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. We may update them from time to time; the latest version is always on this page.
